About Me
Danos Philopoulos is a graphic artist based in Athens, Greece.
He has explored all forms of graphic narrative, creating art for children's book illustrations, editorial illustrations, comics, creating animated videos with the use of stop-motion and 3D animation.
He has participated in several anthologies and comic story collections abroad with most notable the anthology "To End All Wars" from Soaring Penguin Press that was nominated in two Eisner award categories in 2015.
He has provided artwork for print and online publications for various countries such as Greece, UK, USA, Canada and Australia.
In 2014 he won the first prize in the Sketchbook competition with a one-year scholarship award at the Ornerakis School of Applied Arts and in 2017 he completed his Masters of Art in Design degree from AKTO college in association with Middlesex University.
